Finding Silence in a Noisy World
Topics:
1. Creating Space for God: The Place of Silence and Solitude
Most of us are not very good at listening, simply because we are so busy and life is so noisy. However if we want to hear the voice of God, we need to enter into silence and solitude. This is not easy, especially if you are a type A personality. In this session, we will explore and experience some of the dynamics of this approach to life.
2. Developing Rhythms for Transformation
All of us have patterns that give shape to our life, but there are times when we find ourselves wishing things could change... that we could slow down and enjoy life more. We want to explore a way of life that enables us to make daily choices to enter more fully into the "abundant life" Jesus talked about.
